Josh Gabriel’s reputation for amazing shows and sounds has gained him fans from all corners of the world and he continues to produce and perform at the top of his game while continuing to reach new heights. Josh rose to international fame as part of the duo Gabriel&Dresden, winning seven industry awards for producing, songwriting and DJing – and achieving seventeen number #1 Billboard Dance Chart hits. Having spent much time in the studio recently, producing Sander Kleinenberg’s new artist album, collaborating with Dave Seaman, and working on a variety of his own projects, Josh is sure to leave his mark on Miami and through the year. Maintaining a constant tour schedule, as well as heading a successful record label, Josh has cemented his place as one of dance music’s most important and forward thinking ambassadors.

How many years have you been coming to WMC
My first year was 1995, so this will be my 15th year. Wow.

The shift between a place to meet and do business with the entire dance world in one place to the best week for dance music parties in the US.
Most memorable/craziest WMC experience you’ve had?
Seeing Lee Burridge at the Space Terrace as the sun was coming up is still clear in my mind.
What are your ideas for making the WMC a better conference
The relevance of the panels could be better tailored to the attendants and they could be closer to the center of the action.
Favorite place in Miami to eat/drink/chill and why
The Kasbah Pool. You make your own food and listen to your own music.
Favorite Miami hotel
The Kasbah, and anywhere else you can find a futon.
Artists you’re looking forward to checking out in Miami
This year I am in search of new sounds. Not sure what I am checking out, but I know it will be something I have never heard before.
Best clubbing moment of 2010 so far
Dropping new Winter Kills at Beta in Denver. Love that place.
What’s in store for 2010
This has been a busy year for me. 2010 will see the release of the 3 different albums I have been working on for the last couple of years. I have been working with Sander Kleinenberg co-writing/producing his debut artist album, finishing the album for my new Winter Kills project. Our first single "Deep Down" was released at ADE. And last but not least, the long awaited Andain album. Also, there are many special releases slated for my Different Pieces label so looking forward to a musical 2010
