Many moons have passed since D. Ramirez first exploded onto the scene. Traversing the globe with his trusty laptop in tow, the roving Ramirez has dispensed his razor sharp productions to unassuming dancefloors with the precision of first class marksman. Whether he’s hidden behind devilish disguises such as The Lisa Marie Experience, Cordial, Finger Fest and Rambo, or performed as the man you know best as D Ramirez, Dean Marriot has achieved more than an entire legion of lesser DJs. He’s achieved five top 20 hits, played on every continent and single handedly coined the electrohouse sound. On Friday, August 7 D. Ramirez will bring his signature sound of electrohouse to a special event in Pachita, the usually exclusive upstairs area of megaclub Pacha NYC

TOM MIDDLETON will be making his return to New York – his first DJ set in the Big Apple since 2005 – on Saturday, April 25th, 2009. Marking the release of his latest CD compilation: “One More Tune.” The double CD is something of a “concept” CD – what are some of the best tracks he’s played when asked for “one more tune” by clubbers who refuse to see the night end.? Exploring that concept, he’s delved deep into his archives to come up with a 15 track mix CD that is loaded with Tom’s personal dubs and re-edits, including the legendary Chicago classic “Promised Land” by Joe Smooth and Derrick May’s Detroit anthem “Strings of Life.”

Been there, done that, does not even begin to describe the life and musical career of the living legend, François Kevorkian, aka François k. We are talking about someone that was there from the early days of disco, to the birth of house music, living it and creating it. François at one point in the 80's had to take a leave of absence from DJing because his studio work was in such high demand. Vinyl was not the only thing François was mixing in his career, he also mixed albums, namely Depeche Mode's best selling album Violator and Kraftwerk's studio album Electric Cafe. When François is not touring the world during festival season, you can catch him right here in New York at Deep Space Mondays (http://www.deepspacenyc.com/) at Cielo for the legendary, award-winning dub night. Created as a welcoming an open atmosphere for those who appreciate music and dub, Deep Space has no dress code or door policy. François has also been nominated for 'Best Resident DJ" for the Club World Awards (http://www.clubworldawards.com/) for his Deep Space night, an award he has won two previous years.

What do sandwiches, obsolete studio gear, a "football" club, and a hot record label all have in common? Well it would be Dixon of corse, who else? Finding time to be the VP of a football team, aka soccer for us Americans, run a label with best friends, manage a hectic DJ and Live schedule all while trying to maintain a personal life is not easy, but who ever said life was? Innervisions might just be the top deep house label at the moment, but don't tell Dixon that, he would probably just tell you it's only music. Soon to debut Innervisions LIVE in the US in May, Dixon is the sort of artist that makes you feel good about being involved with music. He can be tracked down in New York for the House-N-Home loft party Sunday, April 5th, and in Miami for the Innervisions label night at the Shore Club on Saturday, March 28th.

Winning Beatport's Artist of the Year is no small feat, but these days, neither is living in Tel Aviv. Israeli producer and DJ, Shlomi Aber, has seen it all and weathered a few storms in the process. Whether it be on the dancefloor, or the streets of his hometown, the man has roots. Drawing influences from jazz, funk, acid, and early Detroit techno, Aber's productions have helped him achieve international acclaim all over the world. Then suddenly in the summer of 2008, Aber was accused of plagiarism by Aril Brikha (http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=28973101&blogID=415290964) on the internet, pointing out the similarity between Aber's "Efrat" and his own "Groove La Chord". Of course this set off a firestorm of controversy that Aber speaks candidly about in his ResidentAdvisor.net interview (http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature-read.aspx?id=1015).

With all the techno and minimal music seemingly dominating the charts and playlists of DJ's around the world, the last thing one would expect to break through would be a live house band. With a new album on the way, the boys don't see any signs of slowing down. Crazy Larry is one of our celebrated techno tourists. It seems wherever the party is, he's there. Nowadays he's the one throwing the parties as well with Cheap Sunglasses debuting at WMC and his Uddermadness parties with similar underlying philosophies: have the most fun with the best music and best sound. No compromises. He is also one-half of Glacier along with Chilean Pier Bucci. A musical partnership was born up in the Rockies in a cabin on St Mary's Glacier, bearing fruit with an aptly named Rocky Mountains EP released on Wagon Repair. In a career defining moment, Crazy Larry heard the Glacier EP as played by Ricardo Villalobos at the Cocoon opening party in Ibiza 2007. Currently, the duo have another EP in the plans, along with the launch of a new record label.

Craig Richards may have the best gig around - resident at the highly-respected Fabric nightclub in London. On this topic he says "I am very aware of how fortunate I am to have the residency. There are no restrictions and I am allowed total freedom to play the music I choose in any of Fabric’s three rooms at any point during the evening. All have amazing soundsystems: What more could I ask for? The audience is incredibly responsive and open-minded so what I choose to play is very much up to me. Being at the club every week gives me the chance to experiment with different sounds and, whilst I accept that I am prone to occasional bouts of self indulgence, for the most part I try to keep people dancing. I love the venue and consider it to be one of the finest places on the planet to listen to electronic music. There is an astonishing array of worldwide talent passing through the place and I'm very lucky to see these people play on a regular basis."
