Born in New York, Nicolas Jaar was raised in Santiago before returning to America where he began his production life at the very tender age of 14. Debuting his tracks at age 17, Jaar – who is now 20 – continues to cause a sensation with his cascading piano lines, folk leaning melodies, cool vocals and deep house undertow. Turned on by equal parts afro-beat, Satie and Villalobos, Jaar’s tracks have appeared on Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company and his own label, Clown and Sunset. His latest releases include the EPs, A Time For Us and Russian Dolls.

I Played at Mutek last year under a little tent at the same time than Villalobos. It was raining on my computer and when I had moments of silence or atmosphere you could hear the music from the other stage! I love the festival - along Communikey in Denver it’s one of the most forward thinking institutions of the US.

Playing in Trouw, Pygmalion or Arena for the Wolf + Lamb experience.
