Been there, done that, does not even begin to describe the life and musical career of the living legend, François Kevorkian, aka François k. We are talking about someone that was there from the early days of disco, to the birth of house music, living it and creating it. François at one point in the 80's had to take a leave of absence from DJing because his studio work was in such high demand. Vinyl was not the only thing François was mixing in his career, he also mixed albums, namely Depeche Mode's best selling album Violator and Kraftwerk's studio album Electric Cafe. When François is not touring the world during festival season, you can catch him right here in New York at Deep Space Mondays at Cielo for the legendary, award-winning dub night. Created as a welcoming an open atmosphere for those who appreciate music and dub, Deep Space has no dress code or door policy. François has also been nominated for 'Best Resident DJ" for the Club World Awards for his Deep Space night, an award he has won two previous years.
This Winter Music Conference, François K will headlining his own Forward Management agency party with a special twilight techno set at the Flawless Sound House on Thursday, March 26th. The Forward Management talent showcase will highlight the extraordinary DJ skills of Tedd Patterson, Brendon Moeller, John Daly, and DJ MKL all day for a special daytime poolside session. Be sure to check out John Daly's forthcoming album, Sea and Sky to be released on Wave Music. François K will also be performing at Body & Soul, along with Danny Krivit & Joe Claussell at Mansion on Friday, March 27th.

And once inside, seeing my club’s general manager still wearing a suit and bowtie, casually getting his tool blown by a boy near the upstairs bar, in full view of everyone.
