This is a swank underground space (no really, it's underground... like underneath the ground) formerly known as west 8th. With two rooms, two systems, plenty of room for legal dancing, and the baddest couches to lounge away the night. It's a little hard to find, just look for the awning amidst all the shoe stores.

Underground house scene, different but cool every open night...
only made bad experiences (especially with the door)
sound is good, but only because its a small contained room

Was there for the first time on March 17th for Hec Romero. Great space, distinct environments to separate the patrons, unique Fraggle Rock style Dozer homes/junglegym/habitrail/waterfall. Nice size dancefloor with dark dark corners and enough anonymity. Superb sound. Make the drinks larger and stronger and we'll be in great shape-kudos to glasses instead of cups, but larger ones please.

The main room is perfection incarnate.
The treehouse is fun, the cave & waterfall are cool and refreshing; but for me, the Room is everything a dancefloor should be. Black walls - sound with deep bass, warm mids, crisp highs - subtle lighting - no distractions.
i love LOVE.

I stopped by Love on a whim after another party and was pleasantly surprised by, well, everything - the place isn't just another venue to hear a dj, it's an experience in itself. Between the rock face walls and ceiling by the bar, the indoor waterfall, to the dark-as-night dancefloor with AMAZING sound, I was sold within the first ten minutes. This place exemplifies what a perfect night out should consist of - every element comes together for a near perfect presentation. I am looking forward to going back, as they are beginning to diversify their bookings. A rare find in the scene!
