- Description
- Formerly known as Galapagos this Wiliamsburg institution is an all-purpose gathering spot. It's been host to underground techno parties, indie rock showcases, avante garde theater, and academic forums on swedish black metal.
Located in the heart of B-Burg on North 6th street you couldn't choose a more badass location. The sound system is decent, and the crowd is always colorful with a good vibe. Even though the old reflecting pool has been filled in the place has aged well. In about 20 years it should have a more venerable reputation than CBGBs. - Sound System
